Connections to Math & Science

Series of four Interest Projects about math, science and technology, developed with Northeastern University's School of Engineering, our collaborator on the National Science Foundation-funded Connections program. Some requirements refer to the Connections curriculum, available from the Program Department (617-893-6113).

'Connecting to Energy' IP
Everything happens due to energy. Energy is the capacity to do work, and describes power, effort and force. Requirements (PDF)

'Connecting to Gravity & Balance' IP
The force of gravitation is what we call gravity. Gravitational force exists between all objects, pulling them together. Requirements (PDF)

'Connecting to Machines & Motion' IP
We use machines every day to do work. A force is applied to a machine that is moved by an effort or load. Requirements (PDF)
